Why Pasture-Raised Lamb?

We believe that a happy, healthy lamb is a better lamb. Since a lamb’s diet tremendously influences the taste and quality of the meat, we ensure that our lambs are raised in the best environment possible.

Did you know?
One ounce of grass-fed lamb has the same calories as grass-fed beef but with more health-promoting omega-3 fatty acids.

Lamb also has:

  • High levels of conjugated linoleic acid (CLA). This means better cognitive, cardiovascular, and metabolic health.

  • Omega-3 fatty acids. These acids can help to reduce inflammation and promote heart health.

  • Vitamin B-12, niacin, iron, & zinc. These essentials contribute to a healthy immune system, energy production, and cognitive function.

  • Less fat/more protein. In addition to the excellent benefits of lamb meat, a grass-fed lamb has 14% less fat and about 8% more protein than a grain-fed lamb.

What does all this mean for you?

  • Lower total fat content

  • More heart-healthy omega-3 fatty acids

  • More omega-6 fatty acid (linolenic acid)

  • More antioxidant vitamins, such as vitamin E

Our lambs are raised with care for your enjoyment.
