The Farmer's Letter: February 2025
Farmer's Letter
Hello friends,
Cheery springtime greetings to you all. Or am I rushing it? Maybe. But, the last few days, there has been something in the air that reminds me of spring. According to the calendar, as of today, there are only 25 more days until spring.
Since my last letter, we have had three more new arrivals at the farm.
One mamma sheep had twins, and another had one baby.
For some unknown reason, the mamma sheep with only one lamb disowned it. So, for the last few days, we have needed to hold the mamma sheep so her baby can get milk. Hopefully, she will accept it soon.
This winter was ideal for the farmers.
The bitter cold days froze the ground, and then it warmed again for a few days, which made the soil expand and contract. This action is so beneficial because it loosens the soil from the compaction it gets in the other three seasons.
It also kills many of the pests that live in shallow soil.
We hope you all had a good winter and were able to stay out of the doctor's office.
It's interesting the feedback we get from customers using real herbs and supplements instead of synthetic types.
Too many supplement companies do not use real herbs in their products, which in most cases benefits the company's shareholders more than the customer.
If you don't have any of our booklets about our herbal products, look for them beside the checkout counter. (Most of them are free.) Packed with sound information from different herbalists, these booklets are an invaluable resource.
