100% Grass-Fed Beef

I’m a Grass Herbivore

As a cow, I am a ruminant. Basically, that means I chew my cud. The largest pouch of my stomach, the rumen, can hold as much as a 55-gallon trashcan.

I love to eat tasty, tender grass at my own pace in my own space. As a ruminant, it’s hard for me to digest grain. I’ve heard of other cows crammed by the hundreds in feedlots where they’re fed mostly grain. Unfortunate. Cows raised in these conditions frequently develop health disorders from their grain diet. And meat from these cows has a higher chance of harboring bad bacteria, like acid-resistant E-coli.

Fresh air and sunshine and a place to stare dreamily into space. That’s my style.
